Shipping

What are the shipping options?

In Europe we ship with PostNL with a track and trace code that you'll receive once the order is on the way. It takes 1 to 3 days in the Netherlands and up to 7 days in Europe. Internationally we ship with Fedex, UPS and DHL.
For Business customers we mainly ship with Fedex International Priority and delivery can be as fast as 5 days to 15 days.

What are the international taxes, duties, etc., that I have to pay?

In general taxes and duties are included.
For the EU, VAT and duties are included.
For the USA business customers, sales tax and customs duties are included.

For HK, SG, CN taxes and duties are included.
Customers outside these regions might have to pay import duties. If that's the case contact us and we'll refund you these duties 100%. This applies only to people ordering through this website.

When will I receive my order?

Check our shipping policy. In the Netherlands 1 to 3 days. Europe 3 to 10 days. North America 5 to 20 days.

What payment methods do you accept?

For consumers you can order online through this webshop and pay with AMEX, Apple pay, iDeal, Master, Maestro, Paypal and Visa. For Business customers in the European Union and Hong Kong you can use Bank transfer. Business customers in the USA can use any of the digital payment methods or international bank transfer.

What do I do if I received a defective order?

Please contact us immediately via email and we'll make it right by sending you a replacement.

What do I do if I never received my order?

Please contact us via email. In the past three years we've never lost an order. However we have experienced delays with PostNL our shipping partner in Europe. There is not much we do about that, if you have a request for another shipping provider, please add it as a note on your order.

How do I activate my warranty?

Keep your original receipt of purchase at this website or from one of our resellers. Warranty period starts immediately from the day of purchase. Our complete warranty policy is here.

Are these lights energy efficient?

Yes they are special plant-centric LEDs, saving 50% or more compared to traditional solutions.

E.g. the Bloomer 2 of 11W will be as good or even better as a previously 120W incandescent light.

Can I use a timer with these lights?

Yes you can use an old fashioned analogue timer or digital timer. (these are not included).

How to clean and maintain your product?

Power off the lights and then clean them with a dry or damp cloth. Do not clean them while power on.

Where are you located?

Our main office is in Hong Kong and we also have a presence in The Netherlands, Singapore, The Philippines and Vietnam. We often have some stock in all the above places.
Consumers cannot visit our offices. For Business inquiries we're available through email/ phone/ zoom/ teams/ google meet and in-person meetings.

How is the product made?

All our products are designed and manufactured according to EcoDesign and RoHS standards. They are mainly made by our automated production lines and advanced manufacturing facilities so we can produce at scale and reliably. Most product development starts with a specific customer need or plant need. We then go through a process of ideation, conceptualisation, engineering, prototyping, manufacturing and testing phases. The voice of the end-user and our plant scientists are very important in this process. We use Design for Sustainability and Design Thinking techniques as part of our iterative process.
